hi so for one of my teachers i was suppose to pic a fairytale and put it in terms of the civil war it was weird and because i dont have any other things to post i decided to post it

Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom their lived a girl named Cinderella and her family who lived peacefully with her mom and dad. When Cinderella was young her mother died. Her father later fell in love with someone and she once again had a mother figure in her life. When her father died life went into complete turmoil. Cinderella had to leave her happy life with her father to live with her evil stepmom. Her beautiful clothes were packed away and traded in for rags. Her evil stepmother as well as her two step sisters nagged her to cook and clean and perform all the chores of the house. She was treated like a slave. Cinderella was not going to stand for this any longer. Once to make her sister angry she put salt in her sisters drink so she would choke and altered her other sister’s dress to high so everyone could see her ugly legs. She sang while she worked and when she felt alone she talked to the animals who favored her and not the evil witch she had for a stepmother. One day when Cinderella was cleaning she heard a knock at the door. Her stepmother went to get it. A letter to the ball. Her step mother read it to her two daughters saying that this was their chance to leave an impression on the prince. Cinderella really wanted to go and was shocked the letter was in her name and not in no one else’s. Her sisters didn’t even get invited .Not wasting any time she went up to her and asked if she could go and she said no. Cinderella asked why and then her stepmom replied that if you finish your chores and find something to wear you can go laughing with pride. She then rushed through her chores but then she realized she had nothing to wear and sobbed. While Cinderella was cleaning the animals made her a beautiful dress. Cinderella was so happy that the animals wanted to help her. Cinderella’s step mom and step sisters were getting ready to leave and when she approached her sisters they ripped her dress to shreds. Now she could never go to the ball and the three of them left. Cinderella’s tears poured down her face until a tiny glow appeared. It was her fairy godmother. She did not want Cinderella to miss her ball and in order to do so turn her dress into a non ripped more beautiful dress two glasses into glass slippers a pumpkin into a carriage one of her mice into a horse and another one into a driver. She was ready to go and thanked her godmother but she then said that at midnight everything would go back to normal. When she got to the ball the prince approached her and they danced and danced. The clock stuck twelve and she began to run leaving only her glass slipper in her place. The prince fell in love that night and was going to find the girl so they can marry. The next day the prince arrived at the house looking for his princess. Cinderella’s step mother quickly took her upstairs and locked her in a room with a key. The ladies began trying on the shoes and the animals managed to unlock the door before the prince left. All of their feet were way too big and then the shoe broke into pieces. The prince was sad thinking he would never find his true love but Cinderella had the other slipper. He tried it on her foot .a perfect match. She finally got away from her stepmother and she and the prince lived happily ever after.
